Some wires of the camera IO cable are twisted together, therefore the color black appears several times.

Information: The lighting outputs switch 3.3V and need for the correct function with optocoupler and flash controller a PullUp resistor against voltage supply +24V.

Information: The encoder inputs may only be operated with 5VDC logic. We recommend to use a Motrona converter for operation.

Lighting with optocoupler

A fast optocoupler can be used to control the illumination. The illumination is switched on continuously during image acquisition.

Illumination with Gardasoft lightning controller

Depending on the lightning controller, a different number of channels is available. The channel used is not relevant for the wiring and can be freely selected.

Motrona encoder pulse distributor

Example: Motrona GV210

The GV210 has 2 rotary encoder inputs and outputs. The assignment of inputs to outputs is carried out via the control signals.

Warning: DIL switches 1 + 2 on the device must be set to 0 so that the correct camera signals are generated. DIL switches 3 - 8 must be adapted to the application and the encoder. (Standard is all switches set to 0)
